Start of the Process
Our installation process begins by measuring the windows and helping you select the best film for your objectives. The next time we come to your business will be to install the film. The amount of time to install the film will depend on the number and size of your windows, cleaning preparation, removing blinds, moving furniture, or other accessibility requirements.
Middle of the Process
Installing the film is a quiet and low impact project allowing your employees to continue working with minimal disruption. Generally, we arrive with the film precut according to the measurements we took during the first meeting. After the preparation work is complete, a water-based slip solution is sprayed on the glass. Once the film is applied and pressed onto the window, it is hand trimmed by our trained and certified installers, for an exact fit.
End of the Process
Allow your new film to cure for a minimum of four weeks before washing, wiping, or handling the glass. It is important to not touch the new film until the adhesive fully adheres to the glass. The film comes with XPEL’s lifetime warranty for defects and the installation work comes with a two-year craftsmanship warranty by us. Avoid cleaning products with ammonia.
