Q. Why put film on windows?
A: Our customers are looking for solar heat rejection and winter heat retention, which reduces utility expenses. Other needs include daytime privacy, or the safety and security gained by simply adding a specialty window film, protecting against ultraviolet rays, and visual aesthetics.

Q. Do you tint cars?
A: Yes, we have teamed up with the experts at Crimlogic. They ensure our customers have the best automotive films available and are acclaimed to be the best installers in the business.
Q. What is the difference between automotive tint and architectural film?
A: Architectural window film is manufactured with metals to provide the performance you expect for your built space. On the other hand, automotive tint is not suitable for a variety of reasons. One of the biggest is because automotive tint absorbs solar heat and architectural film reflects solar heat.
Q. How long does it take?
A: A typical installation on a 1,500 square foot home takes approximately three to six hours to complete.
Q. What should I expect on installation day?
A: Our presence in the home is minimal. One or two installers at your home will be clean, courteous, and soft spoken. We respect your space, your belongings, and treat your home like it is our own.
Q. What preparations should I do before the installer’s arrival?
A: We recommend removing blinds, drapes, or any furniture in front of the windows.
Q. Does the film go on the inside or outside of the window?
A: Typically, film is installed on the interior. We offer a limited number of exterior films for windows that are nearly impossible, or unsafe, to reach from the interior.
Q. What questions will the installer ask me?
A: Our installers will ask questions such as:
Why are you looking for window film?
Do you want more privacy or heat rejection?
Are you concerned about ultraviolet rays long term damage to your interior space?
Does your air conditioning system run constantly?
Would you like film with a dark or light hue?
Would you like a reflective sheen on the exterior side of your windows?
Where are the troublesome spaces you are particularly concerned about?
