James resides in Blount County, TN with his wife and son. They enjoy outdoor recreational sports, fitness, and leisure time on Tellico Lake. Both he and his wife are U.S. military Veterans; he is a Marine Corps Veteran, a former U.S. Park Ranger, a Department of Energy Security Police Officer, and served as a Trooper for the Tennessee Highway Patrol. He has spent nearly two decades in community-oriented policing and is looking forward to serving you in a different capacity.

After his son graduated high school, James decided to hang up his law enforcement duty belt for the last time and joined the auto paint protection industry. During this period, he realized a long-time dream of becoming a small business owner when he identified a need for architectural window film in east Tennessee.
